This week MDE is uncovering 6 Things You Don’t Know About Jim Verraros, the Executive Vice President of Luxury Bridal Expo – Chicago/Milwaukee.

For some background information on this one of a kind show, Bridal Expo is a one-stop shopping experience where industry professionals from Chicago and Milwaukee’s top wedding retailers are on hand to answer all of your important planning questions. Participating vendors create lavish displays, which showcase their products so that you can easily see everything they have to offer for your wedding. From DJ services to time saving planning tips, a bridal fashion show to wedding photography, and cake tastings to bouquet inspiration, Luxury Bridal Expo has it all! MDE has participated in several Luxury Bridal Expo’s in the past and we are looking forward to participating in this fall’s expo with Jim and the rest of his team!

Now, for the big reveal —  here are some fabulous things that we bet you didn’t know about Jim! Enjoy all of the fun facts he kindly shared with us.

Bonnie and John had a lovely wedding day at Loft on Lake on June 25, 2011. These two lovebirds exchanged nuptials in a ceremony in the round setting. For those readers who are unsure what the setting is, a ceremony in the round is when the bride and groom are featured in the center of their guests. Chairs surround the bride and groom in circular shape as the two recite vows (rather than the traditional standing up in front). Typically, this set-up is ideal for an intimate setting and/or a smaller guest count. The ceremony design is also said to symbolize eternity and oneness, which makes it a natural fit for a wedding ceremony!

Originally, when friends and fellow planners kept telling me two years ago that I NEEDED a blog and HAD to have one I would always have the overwhelming desire to hide under a table. A BLOG!? ME?! OH GEEZ. What would I say?!

Customer service, in the dictionary, is defined as “assistance and other resources that a company/business provides to the people who buy/use its products/services. This seems pretty cut and dry, black and white, plain as day…however customer service is really actually quite difficult to define in general terms, because every individual and company has many interpretations, understandings, and ultimately practices of “customer service.”

As I am sitting in my house on this lovely summer night in August, computer on my lap, answering emails, updating the company facebook page (and of course my own) I began thinking about how much can happen in a year…and what a year it has been!
