Emily joined the MDE team in May of 2011 as an intern and jumped into her first wedding within a week of her start date. From the very first minute she joined the team, her organization, creativity, and impeccable attention to detail has made her stand out. Her enthusiastic personality, combined with a genuine commitment to making every wedding and event unique, has facilitated her quick transition from the role of an intern to Associate Event & Wedding Coordinator.

Prior to joining the team at Michelle Durpetti Events, Emily found herself wrapped up in details planning events for multiple organizations, clubs and businesses. Emily has a background in Public Relations and worked as a Fashion and Beauty Intern at Siren PR (New York, NY). She also has catering experience having worked with The Canapé Carte (Ferndale, MI) assisting with prep in the kitchen and on-site at both small and large scaled events.

With a year under her belt, Emily has become an integral part of the MDE team. She continues to bring creativity and attention to detail to every wedding, creative project and corporate event that she works on. She feels immense pride in dedicating herself to local, non-profit events, as well.

Michelle Durpetti Events (Formerly known as McGowan Durpetti & Associates) along with Chicago Social Brides presents An Evening in Eden at Galleria Marchetti. MDE will celebrate its re-launch and expansion with An Evening in Eden by showcasing our creative talent as well as the talent and creativity of our network of local, national and international vendors. In addition to being passionate about event production, MDE is also passionate about helping others. For this event, MDE is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from the evening to two very worthwhile charitable organizations – Wish Upon A Wedding and Chicago Gateway Green.
