Rachel joined the MDE team in September of 2011. She graduated from Central Michigan University in May of 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Administration and Professional Sales.

Rachel completed an internship in the summer of 2011 at The Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, where she worked alongside the wedding and event coordinator, assisting with creating floor plans, diagrams, timelines, banquet order forms, coordinating wedding rehearsals, and handled on-site logistics.

Having completing her internship, Rachel was positive that she wanted to make a career out of planning weddings and events. When the opportunity arose for a position with the MDE team, Rachel gladly accepted.

Over the course of the last year at Michelle Durpetti Events, Rachel has found her strength in event production and budget management. She finds satisfaction in managing details on behalf of her clients and loves seeing an event come together seamlessly.

Michelle Durpetti Events (Formerly known as McGowan Durpetti & Associates) along with Chicago Social Brides presents An Evening in Eden at Galleria Marchetti. MDE will celebrate its re-launch and expansion with An Evening in Eden by showcasing our creative talent as well as the talent and creativity of our network of local, national and international vendors. In addition to being passionate about event production, MDE is also passionate about helping others. For this event, MDE is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from the evening to two very worthwhile charitable organizations – Wish Upon A Wedding and Chicago Gateway Green.
