Sterling joined the MDE team as an intern in January 2012 and became a part-time associate in April. She is a 2009 graduate of Miami University, with a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication and a minor in Organizational Behavior Management.
. Directly after graduation, Sterling followed her lifelong passion for horseback riding to the United States Hunter Jumper Association in Lexington, KY. There she served as a liaison and program developer for multiple committees and programs of the non-profit organization. Through this experience, she discovered her love of event management and moved to Chicago to pursue a job that would utilize her creative, detail oriented work style.
Michelle Durpetti Events (Formerly known as McGowan Durpetti & Associates) along with Chicago Social Brides presents An Evening in Eden at Galleria Marchetti. MDE will celebrate its re-launch and expansion with An Evening in Eden by showcasing our creative talent as well as the talent and creativity of our network of local, national and international vendors. In addition to being passionate about event production, MDE is also passionate about helping others. For this event, MDE is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from the evening to two very worthwhile charitable organizations – Wish Upon A Wedding and Chicago Gateway Green.
