Event Summary:
The services of McGowan Durpetti & Associates were requested in producing an afternoon of pampering for spouses and guests of Congressional Medal of Honor recipients attending the 2009 Convention in Chicago. Guests spent the afternoon enjoying spa treatments and some much-needed time to relax and socialize with one another at the Mario Tricoci Salon in The Shops at 900 North Michigan. Guests were personally greeted and escorted to the Spa Day by MD&A staff, where they had pre-arranged appointments for hair styling, manicures, pedicures, make-up applications, and massages. Prosecco, sparkling water and refreshments were provided by Frankie’s Scaloppine. Each guest also received a complimentary goody-bag with gifts provided by The Shops at 900 North Michigan.

MD&A coordinated all Spa Day event logistics including the selection of services, development of budget, time scheduling of services, and on-site event management to ensure the day was as relaxing as its promise

For this event, MDE is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from the evening to two very worthwhile charitable organizations – Wish Upon A Wedding and Chicago Gateway Green.
