Event Summary:

The L. Woods Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, held at L. Woods Tap and Pine Lodge in Lincolnwood, IL, invites parents and children alike to participate in a St. Patrick’s Day parade and other festive activities. While managing partner Denise McGowan has been involved with this event for several years, the team at MD&A was asked to produce the event for the first time in 2009 to assist in developing the creative foundation of traditions and activities that Denise had set into place. These annual activities now include parade production, a kids’ craft corner, and a variety of live entertainment and interactive performers to add to the festive atmosphere. To make the experience truly festive, all guests are provided with hats, beads and other St. Patrick’s Day accessories upon arrival. In 2009, MD&A was able to make this annual event even more exciting with the addition of the 35-member South Shore Drill Team to lead the parade, performing dance numbers at the conclusion of the parade and adding to the audience’s excitement. The event was a great success in introducing new traditions to be included in coming years’ celebrations. MD&A is looking forward to producing and growing the 2010 L. Woods Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.
