Event Overview:
NOI Firenze is a luxury leather fashion design team from Florence, Italy who showcases their product line annually with trunk shows in New York, Chicago, and Beverley Hills. While NOI Firenze had an established client base and sales record at the New York and Beverley Hills trunk show destinations, they were looking to establish their presence in the Chicago market. NOI Firenze approached McGowan Durpetti & Associates to provide them with destination management services and assist them in bringing in new business and sales to their Chicago trunk show. MD&A supported the five-day stay in Chicago producing a private showing event for the trunk show—showcased at the Palmer House Hilton. MD&A utilized their network to create an extensive guest list including Chicago area residents in NOI Firenze’s fashion-forward and high-end target market. Guests were invited to a private open house event where they socialized with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Attendees received personalized attention while shopping NOI Firenze’s designer leatherwear and jewelry from their trunk show partner company L. Vettori. Guests were able to develop and order customized pieces from both lines. The evening successfully accomplished the client’s goal of increasing sales and bringing in a new client base in the Chicago-area, suggesting much promise for growth in their future Chicago trunk shows.
Services:
The client contracted McGowan Durpetti & Associates to provide them with destination management and private event production services. Destination management services included grassroots outreach, media outreach, event marketing, and accommodations management. Event management services included venue selection, negotiation, and contracting, comprehensive private event planning, guest list and RSVP tracking, and on-site event production and oversight. MD&A looks forward to continuing their assistance with the Noi Firenze Chicago Trunk Show annually.
